Meet Emina Hodzic

Registered Social Worker

Hi, I’m Emina, and I’m so glad you’re here. I know that reaching out for support can be a big step, and I’m here to walk alongside you. My approach is all about collaboration—I’m here to listen, understand, and work with you on the goals that matter most to you.

I’m passionate about helping clients build resilience and find meaningful solutions to the difficulties they face while navigating life’s challenges. I utilize a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to counselling. I believe in meeting you where you are at and building on the skills that are already within you.

My therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centred—I believe that you are the expert in your own life.  Together, we’ll explore your needs using a trauma-informed and compassionate lens, finding the right tools and approaches that fit your unique journey.

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts in Research Psychology. I’m also a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

Personally, I love spending time outdoors and finding ways to enjoy the novel and distinct adventures that come with every season.
